Increased responsibility and varied work assignments 

The trainee programme was established in 1999 and has proven to be a highly fruitful programme for both trainees and First Securities alike.  The programme helps the trainee quickly incorporate into one of Norway’s leading finance environments and develop to take part in a wide array of company activities.  Training takes place through practical work duties in which the trainee is coached by senior employees, participating in analyses and both large and small-scale projects.  The trainee is given increasing amounts of responsibility as the various phases of the programme are completed, something which ensures an even but broad learning curve.

 First Securities is one of Norway’s leading broking teams.  We are looking for exceptionally skilled individuals who will be able to help secure and strengthen this position over the long term.  We are seeking young, ambitious, professionally strong and engaged workers.  The ideal employee must also possess strong communication skills and be able to demonstrate high performance capacity from a background in academics, athletics, or the like.  If you have:
a Bachelors degree or higher education at NHH, NTNU, BI or equivalent institution, area of study is of less significance
a strong and documented ability to perform
good communication skills in both Norwegian and English
a high degree of motivation and dedication to work
Interest in finance and the drive to build a career in the industry
