Even though First Securities was established in 1999, the core team has been working together since the middle of the 1990s and consists of leading experts in their respective fields.   The company bases all consultancy and services on in-depth industry knowledge and long experience, balanced with academic and analytical excellence.  The combination of analytical skill and a responsible attitude with a far-reaching perspective has positioned First Securities to deliver added value for its customers over the long term. 

Distribution

In addition to its own channels, First Securities currently cooperates with a number of other actors for distribution within the private market.  The company offers complete solutions on both a product and service level and has built up one of the most complete distribution platforms for securities trading in Norway.

Organisation

First Securities is currently organised as a group with subsidiaries that offer a complete spectrum of services and solutions for both institutional and private investors.  All our divisions have the ability to utilise the company's unique analysis skill in its product conception and consultancy services.  This form of organisation ensures professionally anchored consultancy, adapted to individual segments and needs.  The company had 230 employees as of the beginning of 2009. 

Owners

The company’s largest owner is Swedbank AB, with 51%.  The remaining 49% is owned by the employees.
